This unit is part of a modular audio storage system. It goes on top of other units to provide a flat, sturdy surface. This is the original size that fits on the LP Record Rack and the CD-180.
- 3/4" thick x 18" wide x 13 3/4" deep
- high quality face veneer over quality multiply core (better than solid wood in this application due to dimensional stability and flatness)
- solid wood edging
- two holes in underside for registration pins (included)
Double- and Triple-wide Tops are also available to span and unify multiple stacks of Record Racks. Contact me for info.

Many thanks to Ryan Tinsel for continuing the Per Madsen Rackit modular record rack legacy. The two pieces ordered arrived well-packaged and the out of the box experience was nothing but positive. Both the tabletop and base w/casters exhibit craftsmanship and attention to detail. One nice touch is that Ryan uses hardwood braces for the corner joints of the base. Although they won’t show after rack assembly, it speaks to pride of workmanship. Assuming my LP collecting/hoarding continues, I’ll be back for more...

This tabletop seems almost exactly like the originals made by Per Madsen. I’m very happy someone assumed making the Per Madsen Design products. Not cheap (neither were the originals), but the products appear very well made by independent craftsmen. For that reason, I’m happy to pay the price. It seems my order may have gotten lost in the shuffle, however. On the last day of the allotted time window, I reached out, contacted the vendor, and after a mea culpa, my order was shipped immediately. This was no real problem for me, as I had no immediate need for this item. Overall, a good experience for me.

Excellent quality and superior LP album storage and shelving system. Very well designed and expertly crafted by Ryan Tinsel -- every one built by hand. Exceeded my expectations and Ryan was very responsive to email communications all the way through delivery. I think this is the best LP storage system on the market for design, style, durability and versatility.
